Michael Moore takes on the CNN’s Wolf Blitzer and Dr. Sanjay Gupta on the Iraq war and his movie on the US healthcare system, Sicko.

Rudy Giuliani: “The free market principles are the only things that reduce cost and improve quality. Socialised medicine will ruin medicine in the United States”.
Moore: “…We have one of the largest socialised system called medicare … even though it is under funded and too much control has been handed over to private companies…”

I think this movie should be seen by every American, regardless of what you think about socialized anything…Having said that, the one thing that we should keep in mind is that our current health care system is an industry, and they want to make profits. The only way they can make profits is to increase prices or deny health care. I think this is just unacceptable in this country. Good post, Sydney. It is indeed ironical that a country with some of the most advanced technologies in medical treatment, has a system where so many patients get taken for a ride by insurance companies.
Moore’s messages are so powerful…from bowling for columbine till date….i admire his clarity, conviction. he is so disturbing. great video! thanks a lot for posting this.
